Christians are embarrassed of the Bible.

Taken from Cap’n Terry Scott Green on Facebook:

For truly I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, not one iota, not one dot will pass from the law (OT) until all is accomplished. Whoever relaxes even one of these commandments and teaches man so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but he who does them and and teaches them shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For unless your rightousness exceeds that of the Scribes and Pharisee’s (OT) you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.” – Jesus in Mark

Anyone who has ever spent any time debating a Christian has learned one thing for sure, when it comes to the Old Testament, Christians are embarrassed as fuck by it. They will go to amazing feats of mental gymnastics just to explain it all away, like it was all just some sort of bad dream.

“Don’t worry! The Old Testament no longer counts. God called for a “do over”. He changed his mind!”

It really is like a bunch of eight year olds playing make believe in their backyard.

P.S. Could I say the words “Old Testament” more?
